Process

Attend one of two leadership workshops during your lunch, date and time TBD.
Complete the Information Leadership Application process by April 1, 2025.
Submit a resume with three BHS Teacher references by April 1, 2025.
Schedule an interview on April 3, 2025.
1. Complete an interview by appointment with Mr. Thomann during lunch.
Student Voting TBD.
Leadership Team Announced via personal email April 22 @ 4:30 pm.
1st Leadership Team Meeting @ 6:00pm on Thursday, May 1st before from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

To be considered for a leadership role you must be enrolled in band for the entire year. Are you Scheduled for Marching Band and one of the Concert Bands, i.e., semester 1 and semester 2?

The Marching Band Leadership team is expected to report to the marching band rehearsal facility before rehearsals 30 minutes prior to every rehearsal to assist with making sure the rehearsal starts on time. This includes, but is not limited to the following jobs: setting up yard-line markers, ticking the field w/ tape, passing out drill, music, and other materials, setting up drum major podiums, transporting equipment, passing out tuners, setting up audio equipment, taking attendance, and includes the tear down of all equipment etc. I acknowledge and accept this responsibility if I am accepted to be a member of the leadership team..
